funny stuff...

This is such a great age. I don't think a day goes by when I don't laugh at something Addison does. Sometimes it's silly, sometimes adorable, sometimes unexpected - but always too cute! When we run for the camera, she usually stops whatever it is she's doing and then just wants to play with the camera. So it's rare that we actually catch her moments on film. But, here's a few of her latest silly moments that made me smile...

When it's time to go, Addison knows where her 'seat' is in the car. She tries to climb in by herself, but still needs a boost to get into Mommy's rig. This day, I got home and was unloading my junk from the front passenger seat, and Addison showed off how good she is at climbing in. She got in, and scooted right over to the driver's side. She was amazed and thrilled when the wipers went on, the windows rolled down and the horn honked. Scary to think of this kid driving someday! I like her little for now!

Addison is big on hugs and kisses. Here she is with her BFF Cloe.

The scrunchy wrinkle nose smile always makes me laugh!
Although refining her utensil skills, some nights are still reserved for the hands. Clean plate club - yes. Clean face club - absolutely not... Look out bath, here she comes!

She loves to try on shoes and help put on her shoes. She brings us our shoes when we are getting ready to leave and tires to help us put shoes on. She sometimes bring shoes to us to put on even if we are already wearing a pear or not actaully going anywhere.

Easter

We went to the Muskego Lions Easter Egg hunt at a local park near our house. Addison has been exhibiting crowd shyness. Anytime we are around a crowd, she is a magnet to Matt and I and takes a while to warm up. This day, she eventually played on the gym equipment, but she never let Matt out of her sight, and often returned to him for reassurance. At home, she’s all about exerting her independence. But in a crowd, she's still our sweet little girl! Although I want her to be brave and explore, there's nothing like that feeling of knowing only your hug will comfort your child - most day anyway.

This is how the day began... Addison and Daddy watching the kids play.

Then she tried it herself.

She finally left the equipment to go join the Easter Egg hunt.

But eventually she was back magnetized to her daddy.
The event ended with a turn on the swings, then home for a nap!
